This new HMO medical plan option from New Mexico Health Connections is being offered as a statewide plan option.  Please be advised that this HMO plan does not provide out of network coverage as defined by the plan, except for emergency care.  While the plan includes In-Network hospitals throughout the majority of the state, individuals should be aware that the Los Alamos Medical Center in Los Alamos and Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces do not participate in New Mexico Health Connections' provider network.  Individuals in the Taos area should be aware that while Holy Cross Hospital is a participating In-Network hospital and El Centro Family Practice is an In-Network provider, New Mexico Health Connections provider network does not include physician groups owned by Holy Cross Hospital.  In Farmington, the San Juan Regional Medical Center is a participating In-Network hospital, but Piñon Family Practice and Aztec Family Practice are not contracted with this carrier.  New Mexico Health Connections’ provider network includes hospital and physician providers in the Lubbock and El Paso, TX areas.

The provider links below can help you determine how well this option can meet your healthcare needs.  Please verify that your providers are participating in New Mexico Health Connections’ provider network, or that there is a sufficient selection of participating In-Network providers to address your healthcare concerns.
